Rumors of a split between Australian heiress Francesca Packer-Barham and her boyfriend Robert Bates are circulating following three years of their relationship. Reports from The Daily Telegraph suggest the couple may have ended their romance, with speculation rising in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The last public appearance together was at Packer-Barham’s 30th birthday party in December 2024, where they celebrated with friends and family.

Despite the split rumors, sources close to the couple indicate they have been seen spending time together in Palm Beach, a location where they are frequently spotted. Friends suggest that while they may be facing challenges, their relationship has not been definitively confirmed as over. Notably, the couple has a significant age difference, with Bates being 15 years older than Packer-Barham.

The pair began their relationship in 2022, reportedly introduced by prominent public relations figure and socialite Roxy Jacenko. Bates has been recognized for his financial success, appearing on the Australian Financial Review’s rich list with a net worth of approximately $145 million. His career has focused on the business side of the wellness industry, further emphasizing his profile in high society.

Packer-Barham, the granddaughter of the late media magnate Kerry Packer, has largely maintained a low profile away from the celebrity scene. She is the daughter of Gretel Packer and Nick Barham and has recently drawn attention for her lavish birthday celebration at the upscale venue Mimi’s. The event featured high-profile guests, including Indy Clinton, journalist Lisa Wilkinson, and Norwegian singer Adelén.

In a significant financial move, Packer-Barham recently sold her penthouse apartment in the prestigious Horizon building for nearly $30 million, indicating her continued presence in the luxury property market.

As speculation grows around their relationship status, both Packer-Barham and Bates remain in the public eye, navigating their personal lives alongside their prominent family legacies. The unfolding situation continues to attract interest, reflecting the dynamics of modern relationships in the context of wealth and social standing.
