Their journey in 2016 included a memorable drive across the Nullarbor Plain, where Rawlings discovered a mummified blue-tongue lizard. He recalled, “I just found that out because here in Chattanooga, at the Aquarium, the guy was showing one of these to people. And I said, ‘That’s what I found in the middle of Australia, as far away from anything as you could ever be.’”
Their upcoming tour will be a tribute to the supportive reception they received during their previous visit. Rawlings shared, “We had a great time on the first leg. It felt as though it would be better to do a couple of [capital city] residencies and then see if there was enough demand to come back.” This decision reflects their desire to connect with audiences who may not have the opportunity to attend concerts in major cities like Sydney or Melbourne.
