Mia Fevola Eliminated from Dancing With The Stars Before Finale

Mia Fevola, a contestant on **Dancing With The Stars**, was eliminated just before the grand finale during the semi-final, leaving her “heartbroken.” The 25-year-old brand influencer, who grew up watching her parents, **Brendan** and **Alex Fevola**, compete on the show, expressed her disappointment to *Yahoo Lifestyle*. She was one of the highest-scoring participants this season, earning praise for her performances alongside her partner, **Gustavo Viglio**.

In an emotional statement, Fevola revealed that she was particularly saddened not to perform her final routine, a dance set to a **Billie Eilish** song. She elaborated, “I’m gutted that we weren’t able to show that one, because it was really, really special.” The routine symbolized her journey of personal growth, transitioning from a shy and vulnerable dancer to someone who embraced the spotlight.

Challenges of Competing

The intensity of the competition proved to be more challenging than Fevola anticipated. Following her elimination, she shared a video on her Instagram Stories, showcasing her struggles during rehearsals for her foxtrot. Fevola noted that this year’s contestants faced a shorter training period compared to previous seasons.

“By the time you’ve just started learning the actual steps and the routine, you’re probably three or four days in,” she explained. “You feel like you’re so strapped for time, but somehow you just pull it together.” The rigorous schedule required contestants to learn multiple dances in quick succession, which added to the pressure.

The Grand Finale Awaits

As the competition heads toward its conclusion, six celebrities will compete for the coveted mirrorball trophy in the grand finale, scheduled for **August 4, 2023**, at 19:30 on **Channel 7** and **7plus**. Contestants **Brittany Hockley**, **Felicity Ward**, **Kyle Shilling**, **Michael Usher**, **Shaun Micallef**, and **Trent Cotchin** will each showcase their skills in hopes of clinching the title.

Fevola believes that the remaining contestants all possess unique strengths, making it difficult for her to choose a clear winner. “There’s so much talent in that group, and the competition is so strong,” she stated. As audiences eagerly await the finale, Fevola’s journey serves as a reminder of the dedication and effort required to succeed in such a demanding environment.
