Withers lost his older brother, Kionte Withers, in a car accident in 2021, which makes returning to Florida a bittersweet experience. “I do miss Florida, but it’s harder to go back because I lost my brother there,” he shared. Certain childhood cartoons evoke strong feelings of nostalgia for him, which he described as both joyful and painful.
Reflecting on the film’s impact, Withers described a “pinch-me” moment when he met Tyler, The Creator backstage at a concert, illustrating the surreal nature of his rising fame.
