4YFN26 Awards Unveil Top 20 Startups Shaping the Future

The 4YFN26 Awards have announced their selection of the Top 20 startups, showcasing innovative ideas that will shape the future. Set to take place at the Fira de Barcelona during the MWC26 on March 4, 2026, this prestigious event will highlight the most promising startups across five key industry categories.

Out of hundreds of submissions, these Top 20 startups represent the brightest minds and ideas in the fields of Climate Tech, Health Tech, Fintech, Mobile Frontiers, and Digital Horizons. Each startup will compete in the 4YFN26 Awards semifinals on the opening day of the event, where they will pitch their concepts to a panel of distinguished investors and industry experts. The evaluation criteria will focus on innovation, scalability, and potential impact, ultimately leading to the selection of five finalists.

The finalists will then present their ideas on the Banco Sabadell stage on March 4, competing for the coveted title of 4YFN Awards winner and a cash prize of €20,000, provided by the GSMA Foundry.

Among the standout startups are:

– **Greenlyte Carbon Technologies GmbH** (Germany): Captures CO2 from the atmosphere to convert into green hydrogen and synthetic fuel feedstocks.
– **Sensegrass** (UK): Utilises AI analytics and IoT to enhance farm productivity and optimize crop health.
– **Skyfora** (Finland): Offers AI-powered weather intelligence solutions for improved forecasting and adaptation to extreme weather conditions.
– **URAPHEX** (Spain): Focuses on sustainable industrial water regeneration through chemical-free processes.

The Health Tech category features notable entrants like **AI Diagnostics** (South Africa), which aims to improve early detection of tuberculosis in resource-limited settings, and **Sycai Medical** (Spain), using AI imaging to identify pre-cancerous pancreatic lesions.

The event emphasizes its commitment to fostering innovation, with a new theme for 2026: **Infinite AI**. This theme encapsulates the spirit of entrepreneurs pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence and highlights 4YFN as a vibrant hub for collaboration between founders, investors, and industry leaders.

In 2026, the 4YFN event will host hundreds of startups across five stages in Halls 8.0 and 8.1. Attendees can expect dynamic demo floors, live pitch sessions, and numerous opportunities for networking with global media and corporate partners.

With its rich history of connecting ambitious startups with essential resources, 4YFN26 promises to be a landmark event in the startup calendar. Interested participants can register for the event today to engage with the future of innovation.
