Witnesses indicated that the victim was shot while attempting to enter his vehicle. Despite the efforts of NSW Ambulance paramedics, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Authorities have not yet officially identified the deceased individual. The Homicide Squad has established a crime scene in the vicinity, indicating a thorough investigation is underway. This incident marks the second fatal shooting in Sydney within a week, following the murder of 39-year-old Gilbert Shino, who was shot in Forest Lodge on March 10, 2024.

The recent violence has raised concerns about safety in the area, as residents grapple with the implications of two shootings occurring in such a short timeframe. Law enforcement is appealing to the public for any information that could assist in their inquiries.

Community leaders and local officials are urging calm while the investigation continues. The police have stated that they are committed to addressing the underlying issues contributing to this recent surge in violence. As the investigation unfolds, more details are expected to emerge, which will shed light on the circumstances surrounding these tragic events.

In light of these incidents, the local community is coming together to discuss strategies for enhancing safety and preventing further violence. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to authorities as they work to restore peace in the region.
