The incident occurred on the morning of October 18, 2023, prompting a swift police response that included cordoning off the gym’s entrance with police tape.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a damaged glass door at the gym, with shards of glass still scattered on the floor. A police spokesperson confirmed that a man in his 30s has been taken into custody and is currently assisting authorities with their inquiries. They assured the public that there is no ongoing threat in the area.

Initial reports indicate that no one has sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident. However, a spokesperson for St John Ambulance stated that two individuals were transported to the hospital.
