GWM Launches Enhanced H6 Ultra PHEV with Cutting-Edge Features

The latest iteration of the GWM Haval H6, the 2025 H6 Ultra PHEV, has been unveiled, featuring significant enhancements in technology, performance, and design. This plug-in hybrid SUV combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with electric motors to deliver a powerful combined output of 268kW and 76Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 4.8 seconds. This performance positions the H6 Ultra as a strong contender in the family SUV market.

At a recent visit to OGR GWM in Mount Gambier, the vehicle’s upgrades were evident from the moment one steps into the driver’s seat. The exterior design has received a notable refresh, featuring sleek LED headlights and new daytime running lights. The rear of the vehicle showcases full-width LED tail lamps and prominent GWM badging. The Ayers Grey paint finish gleams under sunlight, complemented by matte-black accents and stylish 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the H6 Ultra, the all-new Coffee AI infotainment system transforms the driving experience. This 14.6-inch high-definition display integrates navigation, climate control, and audio settings into an easily navigable interface. Users can customize their settings extensively, making adjustments simple and intuitive. The Coffee AI system also supports app downloads, voice commands, and offers a premium DTS sound system for an immersive audio experience.

The H6 Ultra PHEV’s hybrid technology is designed for efficiency, with the potential to achieve nearly 1,000 kilometres between refuels by utilizing both electric and petrol power. This feature is particularly appealing for long-distance journeys, such as travelling from Mount Gambier to larger urban centres. Additionally, the vehicle’s numerous high-tech features include a digital cluster, heads-up display, wireless phone charging, and ample cargo space.

Safety remains a key focus for GWM, with the Haval H6 undergoing rigorous testing to achieve a 5-Star ANCAP rating. Its robust construction is complemented by advanced safety features, including multiple airbags and driver-assist technologies. Furthermore, GWM offers capped price servicing for routine maintenance, enhancing long-term ownership predictability.

The Haval H6 Ultra PHEV is competitively priced at $47,990 driveaway for two-wheel drive models and $50,990 for all-wheel drive variants, with an additional $495 for premium paint finishes. Buyers can also take advantage of a limited-time financing offer of 1.99% over five years, with no balloon payment required. Each purchase of an H6 PHEV includes a complimentary at-home wall charger, making it an attractive option for eco-conscious consumers.

For those interested in exploring the Haval H6 Ultra PHEV and its impressive features, the team at OGR GWM is available at 132-138 Jubilee Highway West, Mount Gambier, or can be contacted at 8724 1111 for further information. With its blend of performance, technology, and safety, the H6 Ultra is poised to become a popular choice among family SUV buyers in South East and Western Victoria.
