The vehicle is built on Hyundai Motor Group’s **E-GMP platform**, which is tailored for electric vehicles and provides a foundation for enhanced performance and efficiency.

This all-wheel-drive SUV is powered by dual **157 kW** electric motors, delivering **350 Nm** of torque. With a self-levelling damper system, the Ioniq 9 ensures stability, especially when carrying heavy loads. It can recharge from **10% to 80%** in just **24 minutes** using a **350 kW DC fast charger**, making it a practical choice for long-distance travel.

Furthermore, the Ioniq 9 is backed by a **five-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty** and an **eight-year/160,000 km** warranty for the high-voltage battery. Under Hyundai’s **Lifetime Service Plan**, the first service, due at **30,000 km** or **24 months**, costs **$660**, with a subsequent service at **60,000 km** or **48 months** priced at **$685**.

Safety and Customization Options

While the Ioniq 9 has not yet undergone testing by ANCAP or Euro NCAP, it comes equipped with several standard safety features, including advanced driver assistance systems. The Calligraphy trim includes a complimentary **five-year subscription** to Hyundai **Bluelink**, a connected car service that can be transferred to subsequent owners.

For those interested in customization, the **digital exterior mirrors** are available for an additional **$3,000**, while the six-seat configuration can be added for **$2,000**. Additional paint options include metallic and pearl finishes for **$750**, while matte finishes are offered at **$1,000**.
