During the unveiling, Ho Sung Song, President and CEO of Kia, articulated the brand’s vision for the EV2. He stated, “With the Kia EV2, we are expanding the reach of Kia’s electric mobility to customers who want a compact car that still feels spacious, capable and emotionally rewarding.” This model represents Kia’s commitment to practical innovation, blending advanced electric vehicle technology with thoughtful design.

The EV2 offers an impressive driving range of up to 448 kilometers. It incorporates an EV Route Planner, as well as Plug & Charge functionality, enhancing user convenience. Additionally, the vehicle supports bidirectional charging, allowing it to power other devices.
Alongside the standard EV2, Kia also unveiled the EV2 GT Line and introduced its latest electric GT models: the EV3 GT, EV4 Hatchback GT, and EV5 GT. This expansion emphasizes Kia’s commitment to combining accessible electrification with thrilling performance.
