Accused Killer Kept Disturbing Photos of Ex-Wife, Court Hears

UPDATE: In a shocking revelation, a court has heard that Jesse Beale, accused of murdering his ex-wife Crystal Beale, allegedly kept disturbing images on his phone of her being sexually assaulted while unconscious. This harrowing detail emerged during a hearing at the Supreme Court of Brisbane on Wednesday.

According to prosecutors, just hours before her death, Crystal confronted Jesse about these photos. The following day, her body was tragically discovered in the Brisbane River near the Brisbane Corso in Yeronga. Investigators allege that Jesse Beale searched for tide times on the Bureau of Meteorology website that night, raising suspicions about his intentions.

The court was informed that on the day Crystal was last seen, she had gone out to dinner in Sunnybank with family. Afterward, she was reportedly dropped off by Jesse on Ryan Street in West End at approximately 9:30 PM. Authorities believe she was murdered that evening, with her body later taken to the river near Orleigh Park.

Jesse Beale, arrested in Maudsland on the northern Gold Coast last month, faces serious charges including murder and misconduct with a corpse. During the court proceedings, his barrister, Greg McGuire, applied for bail, which was firmly denied by the prosecution.

Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Caroline Marco emphasized the emotional turmoil Crystal experienced, stating she had been aggrieved by the explicit photos that depicted her in an unconscious state. Crystal’s daughter, Charlie-Rose Wagner, had previously described her mother as kind and loving, highlighting the profound impact of this tragedy on their family.

As the case unfolds, the community is left reeling from these shocking allegations. The next court hearing is expected to provide further insights into the timeline and evidence surrounding this tragic incident.

Stay tuned for more updates as this developing story continues to unfold.
