Beer Truck Crash Closes M1, Causes Major Delays for Commuters

UPDATE: A serious crash involving two trucks carrying beer has caused significant disruptions on the M1 Pacific Motorway at Mooney Mooney. The collision occurred just past the Hawkesbury River Bridge before 7 AM today, October 14, 2023, resulting in cartons of beer spilling across the roadway.

Authorities confirm that all three northbound lanes were closed as emergency services worked to clear the scene. As of now, two of the lanes have reopened, but heavy traffic is still reported in the northbound direction.
