Cadbury Recalls Marvellous Creations Chocolates Over Safety Risk

URGENT UPDATE: Cadbury Australia has just announced a nationwide recall of its popular Marvellous Creations chocolate share packs due to serious safety concerns. The recall affects the 160g sharebags of 10-Piece Marvellous Creations Jelly Popping Candy Beanies, which may contain plastic pieces that pose a risk of illness or injury if consumed.

Consumers across Australia are urged to immediately check their cupboards for these products, specifically those with a date marking of 21.05.2026. The chocolates have been sold at major retailers including Coles, Woolworths, IGA, Drakes, The Reject Shop, and various independent stores.

The alert issued by Food Standards Australia states unequivocally: “Do not eat this product.” Instead, customers should return the affected items to the place of purchase for a full refund. Those who have consumed the chocolates and are experiencing health issues are strongly advised to seek medical attention.

This recall is a critical concern for many chocolate lovers in Australia, especially families who enjoy sharing these treats. The presence of foreign plastic in food products raises alarming safety questions, and Cadbury is taking this matter seriously.

For further information or to report concerns, consumers can contact Mondelez Australia Pty Ltd at 1800 034 241.
