Cattle Australia Announces 2025-26 National Beef Leaders Program

BREAKING NEWS: Cattle Australia (CA) has just announced the participants for its 2025-26 National Beef Leaders (NBL) program, identifying seven young professionals poised to become future champions of the beef industry. This urgent initiative aims to empower and elevate the next generation of leaders in Australia’s vital agricultural sector.

CA Chief Executive Will Evans emphasized the importance of attracting exceptional talent to ensure the sustainability of the beef industry. “The calibre of applicants highlights the incredible depth of talent and passion among young people in rural and regional Australia,” he stated. The selected individuals, aged between 21 and 35, were chosen from a competitive pool of applicants across the country.

The NBL program, CA’s flagship leadership initiative, is designed to equip these emerging leaders with essential skills. Participants will engage in face-to-face training workshops that cover critical areas such as leadership, policy development, corporate governance, and media engagement. This comprehensive approach aims to prepare them for impactful roles within the beef supply chain.

Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with government officials at Parliament House, providing them with invaluable networking experiences. “By developing the skills of these innovative young leaders, CA is securing a strong and sustainable future for the beef industry,” Evans added.

The urgency of this program cannot be overstated; the beef industry faces numerous challenges, and empowering young leaders is crucial for addressing these issues effectively. As these individuals embark on their journeys, they will also benefit from mentoring opportunities that connect them with established figures in the field.

The 2025-26 National Beef Leaders are set to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the industry and ensuring its resilience. More information about the NBL program is available at www.cattleaustralia.com.au.
