Celeste Barber Claps Back at Photoshop Trolls in Sassy Video

UPDATE: Australian comedian and actor Celeste Barber has just delivered a fierce response to online trolls accusing her of being photoshopped on the cover of Marie Claire Australia. The cover, celebrating the magazine’s 30th anniversary, features Barber in a stunning recreation of Jennifer Lopez‘s iconic 2019 Versace Grammys dress.

Shortly after the cover’s debut on social media, critics flooded the comments section with claims that the image was heavily edited. One user remarked, “Heavily photoshopped Celeste Barber is sacrilege,” while another expressed disappointment, stating, “Sorry, but this [is] not you… What happened to your authentic view on Real image??”

In true Barber fashion, she quickly took to Instagram to address the backlash. In a vibrant video, she confidently showcased her cover, quipping, “I just look that fucking good!”

Barber humorously acknowledged the extensive work that went into the photoshoot, revealing, “I look this good when there’s 15 kilos of hair put on my head.” She praised her glam team, stating that “Koh has to snatch my face up to give me a bit of a Kris Jenner lift,” and credited Kristyan Low for his exceptional makeup skills. Barber also hinted at professional lighting being used, adding, “I’m so sorry, but I look fucking great!”

This bold response has already garnered significant attention, with fans and followers rallying around Barber’s unapologetic stance on beauty standards. Her post has sparked conversations about authenticity in media representation, making it a trending topic across various platforms.

As the debate over image authenticity continues, Barber’s unapologetic confidence serves as a reminder of the importance of embracing one’s true self. Stay tuned for more updates as this story develops.
