UPDATE: Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens, just behind Mullumbimby, has just unveiled an exciting new summer attraction called The Magical Quest. Families can begin this imaginative adventure starting in August 2023, designed to inspire curiosity and exploration in nature.
This interactive experience takes place within the lush Shambhala Gardens and invites children to embark on a quest along an accessible trail filled with hidden surprises and magical crystal friends. Young adventurers will encounter whimsical characters, solve riddles, and search for two secret magic words that unlock a special prize at the end of their journey.
Toby King, General Manager, emphasizes, “The Magical Quest is a celebration of imagination, storytelling, and the natural beauty of Crystal Castle. We’ve created a fun, engaging adventure that encourages families to explore together, discovering crystals and the magic woven throughout the gardens.”
Families can immerse themselves in the quest using a beautifully illustrated map and child-friendly clues, tailored for children aged two and over. Each step of the journey unfolds mythical creatures and shimmering treasures, all leading to the final mystery.
King adds, “The Magical Quest invites children to slow down, look carefully, and let their imaginations lead. It’s a delightful new way for families to experience the beauty of the Shambhala Gardens.”
Starting this summer, The Magical Quest is included free with all entry passes to Crystal Castle. Visitors can also take part in a special School Holiday Program featuring a variety of activities:
– 11am: Family-Friendly Guided Tour
– 12pm: Crystal Singing Bowls (14+)
– 1pm: Family-Friendly Singing Bowls (All Ages)
– 2pm: Crystal Meditation (6+)
– 3pm: Crystal Singing Bowls (14+)
These summer holiday experiences are all included with a Day Pass, Family Day Pass, and Annual Pass. Crystal Castle promises to be the perfect destination for a magical and meaningful family day out.
