In a thrilling start, Tess Jamieson scored early, followed by a brilliant assist to Johane Oberholzer, giving Snows a quick 2-0 lead. The momentum built rapidly as Shailyn Williams connected with Eliza Villata, showcasing Snows’ offensive prowess.
Can’t Touch This struggled to find their footing despite gaining some field position. They finally managed to score when Mila Parr dove over to close the gap to 4-1. However, Snows quickly restored their dominance with Ruby Kenny making a spectacular play just before halftime, pushing the score to 7-1 after a break from Sophie Bozic.
The second half saw Lahni Mogliotti shine, scoring twice, while Jamieson added another to bring the total to 10-1. Although Can’t Touch This salvaged a late try from Summer Carlon, the match concluded with a decisive 10-2 scoreline.
In other results from the women’s top division, Straightline Design triumphed 6-4 over Black Line, while Scott Hargrave edged out Cirillo Air Conditioning & Refrigeration 4-2.
The men’s top division also saw defending champions Marchiori Construction start strong with a 9-2 victory. MJ Hams Transport defeated James Girdler Electrical 5-2, and Campbell/Killalea Construction outperformed Prodigy Touch 8-6.
