Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are currently investigating a serious traffic incident that took place in Dianella, Western Australia, on January 21, 2026. At approximately 12:55 PM, a collision involving three vehicles occurred on Reid Highway, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries.
The crash involved a white Toyota Landcruiser, a white Kia Carnival sedan, and a white Isuzu truck. Tragically, the 49-year-old male driver of the Kia Carnival succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A 26-year-old male passenger from the same vehicle was transported to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Additionally, the 52-year-old male driver of the Toyota Landcruiser was taken to Royal Perth Hospital, while a 12-year-old female passenger from the vehicle was conveyed to Perth Children’s Hospital, both for non-life-threatening injuries. The 47-year-old male driver of the Isuzu truck was reported to be unharmed.
