The festival, which kicked off on July 15, 2025, has turned Foreshore Park into a living history experience. Tom, a participant who traveled from Canberra, shared his excitement: “The competitors don’t ‘stab’ their weapons but strike each other with full force.” The intense competition showcases the skill and bravery of the participants, fully protected by their heavy gear as they battle for glory.
The festival continues to draw visitors from across the country, with attendees arriving from as far away as South Australia and Queensland.
