Lavington’s Jesse Hart Set for GWS Debut Against Gold Coast

UPDATE: Lavington’s rising star, Jesse Hart, is set to make his much-anticipated debut for the GWS Giants this Saturday, August 19, 2023, against the Gold Coast in the VFL. The 19-year-old defender has consistently impressed coaches and teammates alike with his performance, making this call-up a significant milestone in his young career.

“This is an incredible reward for Jesse, who has dedicated himself to becoming a better player and teammate,” said proud Lavington coach Adam Schneider. “His competitiveness and desire to win are improving week by week, and I can’t wait to see how he performs on the big stage.”

The GWS Giants head into this crucial match sitting in ninth place with 40 points, as they fight for a spot in the finals. With the top six teams gaining automatic entry, the pressure is on as they aim to secure their position before the finals commence. Meanwhile, in the Ovens and Murray Football Netball League, Wangaratta Rovers have made headlines by recalling several key players, including former Carlton wingman Lochie O’Brien and Northern Territory talent Kieren Parnell, for their match against Myrtleford.
