URGENT UPDATE: The Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA) has officially opened its new Social Services Department branch in Liverpool, Sydney, today, July 23, 2025. The opening ceremony, held earlier today, began with a traditional Welcome To Country and an Acknowledgement of Country, underscoring the LMA’s dedication to respecting local heritage. Originally from Egypt, he expressed gratitude for the support that helped him acquire life skills and secure employment as a barista. The LMA President, Hafez Alameddine, along with board members, cut the ceremonial red ribbon, officially opening the facility located at Level 2, 59 Scott Street, Liverpool. Guests were invited to tour the new facility, followed by a light lunch and networking opportunities.
