Man Hospitalized After Early Morning Fire in Rivervale Apartment

URGENT UPDATE: A man was rushed to the hospital early this morning after a devastating fire broke out at an apartment complex in Rivervale. Emergency services received the call at 4:30 AM today regarding a fire at the building located at 64 Great Eastern Highway.

Firefighters from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES), along with WA Police and St John WA, quickly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered the man unconscious inside one of the apartments, prompting immediate medical intervention. He was transported to the hospital under lights and sirens, highlighting the urgency of the situation.

As of this moment, DFES crews are still on site, conducting investigations to determine the cause of the fire. The fire’s rapid spread raised significant concerns for the safety of residents, underscoring the importance of swift emergency response.
