Developer and founder Robert Wible expressed his excitement, stating, “The idea here was to bring something great to the Buda area.” He recognized a pressing need for entertainment options in the community, noting, “You usually have to drive up into Austin.” This new venue aims to fill that gap, offering a space for families and friends to gather year-round, regardless of the weather.
Tap In will feature indoor mini golf, golf simulators, a lively sports bar serving favorites like pizza and wings, and an outdoor patio for live music and leisure. Wible envisions a place where the community can enjoy both sports and entertainment, stating, “It’s more than just a mini-golf round; it’s a place to hang out.”
Designed by the acclaimed CoXist Studio, led by Frank and Megan Lin, the venue promises a stunning aesthetic, reflecting the same high standards the firm has brought to top-tier restaurants and homes in the Austin area. “We’re excited to open our doors and serve the people of Sunfield and Buda,” Wible added, expressing his commitment to making Tap In a beloved community sports bar.
