BREAKING: A police sergeant has been charged with negligent driving causing grievous bodily harm following a serious crash on the Mid North Coast earlier this month. The incident, which occurred shortly before 2:20 AM on January 5, 2024, involved the officer’s police vehicle striking a 39-year-old female pedestrian on Middleton Street in South Kempsey.
