Bianca Townsend from Goldenway Amusements emphasized the emotional connection to the show, noting, “The highlight is seeing the joy on the children’s faces.” Her family has been part of this tradition for six generations, and they are ready to deliver an unforgettable experience.
This year, attendees can look forward to an exhilarating new attraction—the Lunarix, an Australian-first pendulum ride that soars 40m into the sky. “It’s scary, I went on it and I wouldn’t do it again,” Townsend remarked, highlighting the thrill that awaits the brave festivalgoers. The ride features eight seats on each end that rotate while the pendulum swings, promising a dizzying experience.
To manage the massive influx of visitors, Townsend has employed nearly 100 staff, including 15 to 20 people flown in each year specifically for setup and logistics. “We have over 70 people dedicated just to catering and food,” she noted, underscoring the extensive effort behind the scenes to ensure a smooth operation.
