Blayke Brailey has been named the NRL Dally M Hooker of the Year, while his front-row teammate Addin Fonua-Blake earned the title of Prop of the Year. In the NRLW, Ellie Johnston also took home the Dally M Prop of the Year award.

Brailey, who served as the Sharks’ acting captain toward the end of the season, finished fifth on the Dally M Men’s Leaderboard. This accolade comes as he is anticipated to be named in the Kangaroos team next week, stirring excitement among fans and commentators alike.

The night saw James Tedesco of the Sydney Roosters and Tamika Upton from the Brisbane Broncos crowned the overall 2025 Dally M Medal winners.

Fans are celebrating this significant recognition, and the victories are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players throughout the season.

As the NRL prepares for the upcoming Kangaroos selection, all eyes will be on Brailey and his teammates as they look to build on this momentum. The announcement of the Kangaroos team is expected to take place shortly, promising more thrilling developments for rugby league enthusiasts.
