Soldier On Launches Urgent Podcast Series for Veterans Today

BREAKING: National veteran support organization Soldier On has just announced the launch of an urgent new podcast series titled “Saluting Their Service: Contemporary Voices of Bravery.” The highly anticipated 10-part series will become available on major podcast platforms starting October 8, 2023, offering a vital platform for Defense personnel, veterans, and their families to share their stories in their own words.

This podcast series aims to illuminate the lived experiences of those who have served, focusing on themes such as leadership, identity, mental health, and life beyond military service. Each episode features in-depth conversations that delve into the opportunities and challenges faced by veterans and their families as they navigate their journeys after leaving the service.

Paul Singer, CEO of Soldier On, emphasized the profound impact of this initiative. He stated, “This podcast honors the service and sacrifice of our Defence people while also shining a light on the resilience, skills, and ongoing contributions they make beyond their time in uniform.” He added that the series is designed to foster conversation and connection, bridging gaps between Defence members, veterans, and the broader Australian community.

The production of this important podcast was made possible through funding from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). It is expected to serve as a respectful and authentic voice for those who have served, encouraging open dialogue and understanding within the Defence and veteran community.

As the launch date approaches, anticipation is building around how this series will help reshape the narrative surrounding veterans’ experiences in Australia. The availability of these stories may prove essential in enhancing public awareness and support for veterans and their families.

Listeners can expect the first episode to drop on October 8, with each installment designed to engage and enlighten audiences with compelling accounts of courage, resilience, and transition.

Stay tuned for more updates as Soldier On continues to strengthen the connection between the Defence community and the public through this powerful storytelling initiative.
