Two More Teenagers Charged with Murder in Perth Stabbing

UPDATE: Two additional teenagers have been charged with murder in connection to the tragic Christmas Eve stabbing of a 19-year-old man in Aubin Grove, Perth. WA Police confirmed on Sunday that a 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old male, both from Byford, were arrested and charged with murder, armed robbery, and deprivation of liberty.

These latest charges follow the earlier arrest of another 18-year-old Byford man on Christmas Day, who faces a single count of murder and is set to appear in court on January 7.

Emergency services responded to a call just after 10:30 PM on Christmas Eve, arriving at a shopping centre near Talisker Gate where they found the victim suffering from stab wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, the victim succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.

Police allege that all three accused were engaged in a violent altercation with the victim both inside and outside a vehicle on Talisker Gate during which he was stabbed multiple times. Many residents expressed shock, stating that they were unaware of the deadly incident occurring in their neighborhood.

Homicide Squad detectives have assured the public that they are not seeking any additional suspects in this case and emphasized that there are no ongoing safety concerns for the community.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into this disturbing event as the community grapples with the impact of this violence during what should have been a festive time.

As developments unfold, local residents and families are left to process the tragedy that has struck their community. Stay tuned for updates as police provide further insights into the case.
