Urgent Arrest: $20K Cash, Drugs, Stun Guns Seized in Cessnock

BREAKING: Authorities have made a significant arrest in Cessnock as police seized $20,000 in cash, illegal drugs, stun guns, and a stolen vehicle during a firearms prohibition order search. The operation took place on December 30 at approximately 6:30 AM on Comfort Avenue, marking a critical intervention by the Raptor Squad.

During the search, officers reportedly uncovered a staggering 650 grams of methylamphetamine, 50 grams of heroin, and 1 litre of GHB. In addition to the narcotics, two stun guns and several mobile phones were confiscated, indicating a serious breach of the law. The police established a crime scene and executed a search warrant, leading to the discovery of the stolen vehicle.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with seven offences. This dramatic operation underscores the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat drug-related crimes in the Hunter region.
