UPDATE: A fire has extensively damaged a home in North Albury early this morning, with emergency responders battling the blaze around 5:50 AM on November 8. Approximately 15 firefighters arrived at the scene on Banks Street, near Captain Cook Drive, to extinguish the flames that erupted in a bedroom.

The fire was brought under control within an hour, but the aftermath reveals significant destruction. Fire Rescue NSW inspector Frank Finlay reported that nearly half of the house has suffered from fire, smoke, and water damage. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries in this incident.

As of now, the cause of the fire remains unclear, raising concerns among local residents. It is still unknown whether the property was occupied at the time of the blaze.
