Urgent Search Underway for Missing Man in Riverina Area

URGENT UPDATE: Authorities are actively searching for Michael Cain, a 59-year-old man missing from the Riverina area. He was last seen in Coolamon on July 27, 2019, prompting police to issue an appeal for public assistance as concerns for his welfare grow.

Riverina Police District officers were alerted when Cain could not be located or contacted, leading to a swift response. Early Wednesday morning, images and a description of Mr. Cain were released, underscoring the urgency of the situation.

According to a police spokesperson, “There are concerns for his welfare.” Cain is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 185 centimetres tall, with a solid build, short brown hair, and a beard/moustache. He is believed to be driving a 2017 Toyota Kluger wagon with NSW registration.

Police confirm that Mr. Cain is known to frequent the North Albury and Coolamon areas, increasing the chances that someone may have valuable information regarding his whereabouts.
