BREAKING: Vietnam is making headlines as CT Group officially launched two groundbreaking technology projects that are set to revolutionize the global Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) industry. On December 29, 2025, at the prestigious Ho Guom Opera House in Hanoi, CT Group presented the UAV ASEAN Super Headquarter Union and the ASEAN’s Largest Low Altitude Economy (LAE) Center before over 600 distinguished guests, including high-ranking officials from various ministries and major corporations.
This ambitious initiative, which carries an estimated investment of $2 billion over the next decade, aims to position Vietnam as a leader in innovative technology. The projects focus on enhancing UAV capabilities and developing the LAE, which is expected to launch over 600 high-tech products and services.
At the event, CT Group emphasized the necessity for Vietnamese firms to innovate consistently to remain competitive. They showcased three revolutionary technologies: the “Magic Brush” for stable flight, multi-level safety features for UAVs, and autonomous swarm firefighting capabilities. These advancements are designed to surpass existing market standards, proving that Vietnam is ready to compete on a global scale.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, a representative of CT Group, highlighted the significance of these projects by stating, “The UAV – ASEAN Super Headquarter Union is not merely an investment project; it is a strategic high-tech complex.” This initiative aligns with Tay Ninh Province’s commitment to facilitate swift deployment and integration of high-tech industries.
Furthermore, CT Group’s push into the LAE sector aims to attract top talent and foster technological exports, with the Global Command Center at the heart of this development managing digital infrastructure and supporting innovation across multiple industries.
Mr. Doan Trung Kien, Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, reinforced the project’s strategic importance, linking it to national defense and economic growth. As CT Group gears up for production, they plan to utilize their five existing UAV production plants located near VNU-HCM, further scaling operations to meet increasing domestic and international demand.
