Virgin Australia Relaunches 1 Point Rewards Store in Major Cities

UPDATE: Virgin Australia is set to relaunch its highly anticipated Velocity Frequent Flyers 1 Point Rewards Store in three major cities, starting with Sydney on August 22, 2023. Following the success of its debut on Chapel St in Melbourne last year, the airline is bringing back this unique opportunity for loyalty members to redeem premium items for just one Velocity Point.

The exclusive one-day event will kick off at 8 AM on Pitt St in Sydney, where Velocity members can snag coveted items such as Bose headphones, Dyson products, and designer perfumes, all for the price of a single point. Following Sydney, locations and dates for Melbourne and Brisbane will be announced soon, making this a must-watch for frequent flyers.

Members can redeem one reward per location, provided they have the Velocity app downloaded and at least one point in their account. The pop-up shops will also feature a thrilling mystery prize carousel and claw machines, with Virgin Australia crew on hand to assist.

Velocity Frequent Flyer chief executive Nick Rohrlach emphasized the ease of earning points in everyday life. “Velocity is all about getting our members to rewards faster, and the 1 Point Rewards Store puts the spotlight on that. You don’t need to spend big or wait long for your next reward,” he stated. “Spending daily on things like your morning coffee or grocery shop could get you there in no time.”

This exciting pop-up store is not just about rewards; it represents a significant engagement strategy for Virgin Australia, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to enhancing the customer experience. With the potential for items to sell out quickly, members are urged to arrive early to secure their rewards.

Stay tuned for updates on additional locations in Melbourne and Brisbane, and don’t miss this opportunity to redeem valuable items for just one point!
