Woodford Folk Festival Unveils Exciting 2025 Line-Up NOW!

URGENT UPDATE: The Woodford Folk Festival has just announced its highly anticipated programme for the 38th edition, set to ignite from December 27, 2025! Festival-goers can prepare for an exhilarating six-day journey filled with over 1,500 opportunities for participation, creativity, and connection within the stunning 500-acre festival village of Woodfordia.

This year, the festival is poised to be an extraordinary celebration of the arts, featuring a diverse music line-up that is sure to create unforgettable moments. Leading the charge are Electric Fields, the dynamic duo known for their powerful performances, including representing Australia at Eurovision 2024. Country music legend Troy Cassar-Daley will showcase his impressive 45 Golden Guitars, while acclaimed artist Sarah Blasko brings her indie flair to the stage.

Rising talents, including ARIA-winning artist Budjerah, passionate Indigenous rapper BARKAA, and beloved singer-songwriter Lior, join a lineup that also features KUČKA, Birdz, and the legendary C.W. Stoneking. International acts such as South Africa’s Msaki, Canadian virtuoso Richard Wood, and Kenyan percussionist Kasiva Matua will add global flair to the festivities.

Beyond the music, Woodford Folk Festival promises an array of bold experiences. Attendees can witness breathtaking performances, including daring triple-re trapeze from The Stunned Mullets and cultural showcases from Papua New Guinea’s Ambum Cultural Group. Comedy fans will enjoy acts from Otto & Astrid, along with stand-up performances by Oliver Clarke and Meg Jäger. A variety of engaging workshops, lively dance parties, and circus skills sessions will round out the immersive programme, while the Tinlids Children’s Festival offers creative activities for younger attendees.

With an expected attendance of around 100,000 people, including 25,000 camping or glamping under the stars, the festival promises to be a vibrant hub of creativity. Options include a luxurious bell-tent village from Pitch Luxury and the beloved Tent City.

Festival Director Amanda Jackes describes Woodford as “a village of play, curiosity and renewal,” while Programme Manager Courtney Wild emphasizes the festival’s mission to help audiences “discover new sounds and new perspectives.”

As the festival culminates in traditional New Year’s Eve celebrations, participants will also partake in the Renewal Ceremony on January 1, marking a fresh start for all.
