Beach Hippie Coffee Expands with Second Location in Myrtle Beach

Beach Hippie Coffee, renowned for its house-roasted beans and vibrant atmosphere, is set to open a second location in Myrtle Beach this fall. The new café will be located at 2700 N. Kings Highway, complementing its original shop at 5311 N. Kings Highway. This expansion aims to enhance community connection and creativity, bringing “double the love, double the goodness, double the coffee vibes,” as stated in a recent Instagram post from the café.

The new venue will not only offer a similar range of products but also expand its menu to introduce more delightful options. Customers can anticipate a selection of handcrafted lattes, pour-overs, matcha, chai, and teas, along with an all-day food menu. Signature drinks include the Dream Brulee latte, a rich blend of caramel, brown sugar, and vanilla, and the WunderBar, featuring espresso, dark mocha, and pistachio topped with cold foam for an indulgent experience.

In addition to the coffee offerings, Beach Hippie Coffee will provide refreshing smoothies, including the Beach Detox, made with pineapple, mango, and ginger, catering to various dietary preferences with vegan and gluten-free options. The food menu includes a mix of indulgent and healthier choices, such as the Bakin Me Crazy asiago bagel sandwich, packed with cheese and bacon, and the Spicy Shayster bagel sandwich, featuring egg and jalapeños. Sweet treats will also be available, including gluten-free and vegan options like the Happiness waffle and housemade blueberry-lemon loaf.

Beach Hippie Coffee has gained recognition as a winner at the Coastal Coffee Fest in both 2024 and 2025, and it has maintained the title of Beach of the Beach Coffee Shop for three consecutive years. The café emphasizes creating a welcoming environment where patrons can enjoy exceptional coffee while relaxing away from life’s demands. Its website states, “A dedicated coffee culture as we know amazing coffee is like a day at the beach. Sunny days are always guaranteed inside of Beach Hippie.”

While an exact opening date has not yet been confirmed, the café is expected to debut in early October 2024. The team has started hiring for the new location, referring to the recruitment process as “Hippie Auditions,” reflecting its laid-back, beach-inspired ethos. For updates on the opening and menu offerings, interested customers can follow Beach Hippie Coffee on their website and social media channels.

As the Myrtle Beach community anticipates this exciting addition, Beach Hippie Coffee is poised to become a favorite destination for both locals and visitors alike.
