Burtons Grill & Bar will open its first location in New Jersey, marking the restaurant chain’s expansion into the Garden State. The new venue is set to debut in Parsippany at District 15, located at 1501 NJ-10. According to CEO John Haggai, the decision to establish a presence in Parsippany comes after several years of searching for the right location.
“It’s the perfect spot for us—love the center, love the development. We love to be in a spot where people gather, shop, and dine,” Haggai stated in an interview with What Now Philadelphia. The company has partnered with Schorn Construction Co., Inc. to develop the site, with construction expected to begin in early January 2026.
Unique Offerings and Community Focus
The Parsippany restaurant will reflect the brand’s signature style while incorporating elements tailored to the local community. “It’ll be unmistakably Burtons. We like to match the community, the center, the vibe. There will be some twists and turns on the design,” Haggai explained.
Burtons Grill & Bar features an all-day menu that includes sharable appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and a variety of entrees ranging from fresh seafood to prime steaks. The restaurant also offers a brunch menu and a gluten-free selection, alongside happy hour specials that include $9 bar bites.
Notable dishes include braised short ribs with cabernet au jus, chicken piccata with angel hair pasta, and pappardelle Bolognese with traditional meat sauce. The restaurant’s cocktail program, along with its selection of beer and wine, is another highlight.
Commitment to Quality and Inclusivity
Haggai emphasized the restaurant’s dedication to being a scratch kitchen that is also allergy-friendly. “What stands us apart is we’re known for being allergy-friendly. It’s a big part of our business,” he remarked. The team aims to create a menu that caters to diverse dietary needs without compromising on flavor.
The expected opening is slated for the summer of 2026, with Haggai expressing optimism about a successful launch. “If the stars align, we will be opening right in the early summer with a beautiful patio and killer bar—good stuff, good times,” he stated.
Burtons Grill & Bar currently operates in several states, including Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The addition of the Parsippany location will further enhance the restaurant chain’s presence in the region.
