Puyallup is set to welcome a new healthy dining option with the upcoming opening of Gather Juice Co. at 108 N. Meridian. Located between Caskcades and The Candle Bar, the establishment plans to launch later this year, according to The News Tribune.
Gather Juice Co. emphasizes that its food is designed to be both nutritious and delicious. The menu features a variety of juices, smoothies, bowls, and snacks, all made with real ingredients. “We believe that food should make you feel good—and taste amazing,” the company states on its website. The offerings include vibrant juices like the Goldilocks, which combines kale, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, and ginger, as well as the Pineapple Express, blending pineapple, cucumber, apple, and mint for a refreshing taste.
The smoothie selection includes nutrient-rich options such as the Blueberry Brain Boost, which incorporates coffee and adaptogens, alongside indulgent choices like the Fair Scone Smoothie, a nostalgic mix of berries and oat milk. Smoothie bowls, including the classic Acai Bowl and the tropical Dragon Bowl, feature a blend of fruits, superfoods, and inventive flavor combinations.
Adding to the menu are hearty toasts and grain bowls. Choices range from Chipotle Avocado Toast and Strawberry Balsamic Avocado Toast, served on thick local sourdough, to warm Chipotle or Greek Grain Bowls topped with fresh vegetables and house-made sauces.
The founders, Sean and Gretchen Doyel, were inspired to create Gather Juice Co. after a trip to Bali, where they frequently visited a beachside shack for acai bowls. Upon returning home, they recognized a gap in the market for quick, healthy dining options and decided to establish their own juice and smoothie concept. Since launching in 2020, they have committed to redefining what fast food can be.
“Our juices are cold-pressed, never pasteurized. Every sauce, dressing, and topping is made in-house with no added sugar or artificial ingredients,” the Doyels assert on their website. “Whether you’re grabbing a smoothie on the go or diving into a full grain bowl, we’re here to prove that healthy food doesn’t have to be boring, bland, or a compromise.”
As the opening date approaches, interest in Gather Juice Co. continues to grow. While inquiries were made to the Gather Juice Co. team, there has been no response yet. Updates on the situation may follow as more information becomes available.
