Chris and Tiffany Brennaman, the owners of the beloved comic store Infinite Realities, are embarking on a new venture by opening an arcade bar named Infinite Horizons in Tucker, Georgia. Set to occupy a 2,500-square-foot space at 2316 Main Street, Suite E, the couple aims to create a vibrant community hub where visitors can enjoy classic arcade games alongside refreshing beverages.
Building Community Through Nostalgia
The Brennamans have always prioritized fostering a sense of community, a philosophy they’ve nurtured at Infinite Realities since it launched over six years ago. Chris Brennaman, drawing inspiration from the television show “Cheers,” values the idea of a welcoming space where everyone knows each other’s name. “That’s what my wife Tiffany and I have built these last six and a half years at Infinite Realities, and we wanted to expand the business and expand that community model,” Chris told What Now Atlanta.
Initially considering a second comic store, the couple shifted gears due to the economic uncertainties affecting industries reliant on imported paper products. Instead, they embraced the arcade bar concept, driven by a shared nostalgia for their youthful arcade experiences. Chris explained, “You can just exist. Be you, no matter where you are or where you came from.”
An Exciting New Venue
At Infinite Horizons, patrons will find 30 arcade machines featuring classics like Pac-Man, Street Fighter, and Dance Dance Revolution. The Brennamans plan to refresh the lineup regularly and include console gaming options. The bar menu will cater to all tastes with a selection of beer, wine, mocktails, sodas, and ice cream. “We want something for everyone here — not just people who want a beer, but also people who don’t drink,” Chris remarked.
The response from the Tucker community has been overwhelmingly positive since the announcement. The couple anticipates completing the buildout in a few months, with a target opening in October. Chris expressed his excitement about creating a genuine “third space,” a place outside home and work where people can gather and connect. “We’re hoping that Infinite Horizons will appeal to a much larger base than the comic shop would, and that a larger cross section of people will discover the joy that we have and the joy we bring with our business,” he added.
