Police Investigate Bondi Beach Vandalism with Arrest and Appeal for Information

Police are investigating a series of vandalism incidents that occurred in Bondi Beach early this morning. Around 2:45 AM on November 29, 2025, officers from the Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command discovered offensive graffiti on multiple structures and signs along Queen Elizabeth Drive. Subsequently, at approximately 4:00 AM, further reports of similar graffiti were received from Ramsgate Avenue.

In connection with these incidents, a 38-year-old man was taken into custody nearby but was later released without charges. As the investigation continues, police have released CCTV images of two individuals believed to be connected to the vandalism. The suspects are described as having a slim build, being in their 20s, and were last seen wearing dark clothing and face coverings while heading towards North Bondi on Campbell Street.

Community Urged to Provide Information

Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone who may have information regarding these incidents or who can identify the individuals in the CCTV footage is encouraged to contact the Eastern Suburbs Police or reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000. The NSW Police Force is committed to addressing hate crimes and urges victims or witnesses of such offenses to report them through Crime Stoppers or by calling emergency services at Triple Zero (000).

As investigations progress, police stress the importance of community cooperation in maintaining safety in New South Wales. They remind the public that information can be reported confidentially and that social media platforms should not be used for such reports.

The vandalism incidents at Bondi Beach highlight ongoing concerns regarding public safety and community respect. Authorities hope that through collaborative efforts, they can address these issues effectively.
