Three Men Charged in Masterton Drug Supply Operation

Three men have been arrested and charged with selling cannabis and possession of cannabis for supply in connection with a drug operation in Masterton. The arrests took place on December 2, 2025, after police executed a search warrant at a residential property in the area.

During the operation, authorities discovered 273.6 grams of cannabis that was packaged for sale, in addition to various items associated with the illegal drug trade. Police also found several imitation and modified air rifles, leading to further potential charges related to these firearms.

The suspects, aged 21, 22, and 43, appeared in the Masterton District Court on December 3 and have been remanded in custody to reappear on January 8, 2026.

Detective Senior Sergeant Phil Skoglund commented on the incident, stating, “The sale and supply of illicit drugs causes significant harm in our communities. We are determined to stamp out this offending wherever we find it, but we can’t do it alone.” He urged the public to report any concerns regarding drug supply in their communities, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in combating drug-related crime.

Individuals with information can contact the police via 105 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 0800 555 111.

This operation highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to tackle the supply of illicit drugs, which continues to pose a challenge in many communities. The police remain vigilant and committed to addressing drug-related issues to ensure safer environments for all residents.
