Western Australia’s Arise Racing achieved a remarkable feat in the 2025 Radical Cup Australia Championship by securing all six titles, marking a dominant season for the team. The championship concluded at the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in South Australia, where standout driver Cooper Cutts clinched the overall championship title after a year filled with record-breaking performances.
Cutts, who had narrowly missed out on the title in 2024, used that disappointment as motivation. He entered the final race with a solid 63-point lead over defending champion Peter Paddon. Aiming for a strong finish, Cutts only needed to secure a 12th-place result to ensure his victory, but he exceeded expectations by finishing the race with a triumphant win.
“It’s been a really tough year, and obviously, huge congrats to Pete as well. We fought so hard all year, and even today, it was a really intense battle. But yeah, really happy to get it done,” Cutts remarked after his victory. His decision to push for the win instead of coasting to the finish demonstrated his competitive spirit and determination.
The championship victory was not solely attributed to Cutts. Teammates Chris Reindler and Bryce Moore also played a crucial role, finishing third overall in the championship standings. Their combined efforts helped Arise Racing secure the Teams Trophy for the second consecutive year, reinforcing the team’s status as a dominant force in the racing circuit.
The success of Arise Racing extended beyond the team’s overall performance. Newcomers Mark Cirillo and Dave Allan secured the rookie championship, while Ruairi Avern finished as the fourth-best rookie despite missing one round of the competition. In addition, Brad Russell achieved a rare triple crown by winning the Masters, Grandmasters, and Challenge Cup Championships, further highlighting the team’s depth of talent.
Team manager Michael Epple expressed immense pride in the team’s accomplishments, noting that their success is a reflection of their commitment to nurturing elite Australian racing talent. “This season demonstrated everything we strive to be: the best-presented team, with the most reliable cars, and dominant performances on track,” he stated. He went on to say, “To secure a clean sweep of all six trophies is unbelievable. I am truly grateful to everyone involved: drivers, coaches, mechanics, and crew, whose hard work and dedication made this possible. This championship is a testament to the professionalism and passion of our entire team.”
The 2025 Radical Cup Australia Championship has not only highlighted the skill and determination of Arise Racing but also set a new standard in Australian motorsport. With a clean sweep of titles and strong individual performances, the team has firmly established itself as a leader in the competitive racing landscape.
