Apple TV+ Unveils Season 4 Trailer for Stillwater Ahead of Premiere

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the fourth season of its acclaimed animated series, Stillwater, ahead of its premiere on August 1, 2023. The show, which draws inspiration from Jon J Muth‘s bestselling Zen book collection, has garnered significant acclaim since its debut in 2020, making it one of the highest-rated children’s programs on the platform.

After a two-year hiatus, Stillwater is set to return to screens with more of the lighthearted and uplifting content that has captivated audiences. The series follows three siblings—Karl, Addy, and Michael—as they navigate the complexities of childhood with guidance from their calm and wise neighbor, a panda named Stillwater. Each episode combines relatable childhood challenges with mindfulness lessons, breathing exercises, and moments of calm storytelling, which have contributed to the show’s success, including both a Peabody Award and a Daytime Emmy.

Mindfulness at the Core of Stillwater

The ethos of Stillwater is encapsulated in its approach to mindfulness and emotional well-being. Apple TV+ describes the series as one that invites families to discover their own Zen through various practices integrated into each episode. The show aims to teach children valuable life skills while keeping them entertained, making it a unique offering in children’s programming.

For those interested in catching up before the new season airs, the first three seasons of Stillwater are currently available for streaming on Apple TV+. The service, which costs $9.99 per month, features a variety of popular shows and movies, including Ted Lasso, Severance, and The Morning Show.

As anticipation builds for the return of Stillwater, the newly released trailer promises to deliver the same heartwarming and insightful experiences that have resonated with audiences across the globe.
