EIP Launches USI 2.0 Pro Stylus to Enhance Digital Writing

The launch of the EIP USI 2.0 Pro stylus promises to address common frustrations faced by users of digital pens. Designed to work seamlessly across various Chromebooks and tablets, this new stylus emphasizes functionality and user experience without the need for Bluetooth pairing. Its introduction marks a significant step forward in the realm of universal styluses, enhancing the way professionals, students, and creatives interact with their devices.

Improved Usability with Thoughtful Features

One of the most prevalent issues with many digital pens is their tendency to drain battery life when unintentionally activated. The EIP USI 2.0 Pro tackles this problem with a straightforward yet effective solution: a power button. A brief press turns the stylus on, while holding the power and tail buttons simultaneously for three seconds powers it down completely. This feature not only allows users to conserve battery life but also contributes to its impressive 100 hours of active use. When recharging is necessary, a USB-C port facilitates a complete charge in just 60 minutes.

Alongside this, the stylus incorporates an automatic sleep mode that activates after 10 minutes of inactivity, further enhancing battery efficiency.

Premium Design and Enhanced Functionality

Visually, the EIP USI 2.0 Pro stands out with its D-shaped aluminum body finished in a striking titanium-gold. This design is not merely aesthetic; it also improves grip and prevents the stylus from rolling off surfaces. The ergonomic shape ensures a comfortable writing experience, catering to extended use.

The pen delivers high precision with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, advanced palm rejection technology, and a cone-shaped nib that mimics the feel of a traditional pen. Additionally, the stylus offers smart shortcuts, with the tail functioning as an eraser in popular note-taking applications like Squid, OneNote, Google Keep, and Sketchbook. On devices such as the Pixel Tablet, the power button can even serve as a lasso tool, streamlining content selection and manipulation.

While the capabilities of these shortcuts can vary based on device and application due to USI protocol limitations, their inclusion represents a significant advantage for power users seeking enhanced productivity.

The EIP USI 2.0 Pro stylus is now available for purchase on major online retailers, including Amazon. By addressing common pain points with practical solutions, EIP’s latest offering distinguishes itself in the growing market of digital writing tools.
