LG’s Radio Optimism Campaign Generates 700,000 AI Songs Globally

LG Electronics has launched its successful AI-powered campaign, Radio Optimism, which emphasizes the enduring value of love and gratitude among family and friends. Announced on September 25, 2025, the campaign has resonated with individuals across cultures, inspiring the creation of over 700,000 personalized songs in six different languages. These AI-generated tracks have been listened to and shared more than 1.5 million times, illustrating a significant global engagement.

Emphasizing Connection in a Digital Age

Radio Optimism aims to counteract the feelings of disconnection often associated with social media by inviting users to send heartfelt messages to their loved ones. Participants can choose a genre and vibe, resulting in a unique AI-generated song tailored to their sentiments. Notably, expressions of love constituted over 30 percent of all songs created, with messages of gratitude and encouragement also prevalent. Family members emerged as the most common recipients of these songs, followed closely by friends, highlighting the importance of close relationships.

The campaign has seen an overwhelming response with over 30 million social engagements worldwide and 2.4 billion views of its content. Collaborations with both global and local influencers have further amplified its reach. Australian father-daughter duo Ben and Zara created a special birthday song for Ben’s son, while Brazilian creator Jessie Shen dedicated a touching song to her partner. These contributions illustrate the diverse ways in which individuals express affection and connection.

AI as a Tool for Emotional Engagement

According to Kim Hyo-eun, head of LG’s Brand Management Division, the campaign has helped people rediscover timeless values amid the rapid changes of modern life. “It deeply resonated with people worldwide, reflecting the lasting value of Life’s Good,” she stated. The campaign not only fosters emotional connections but also underscores LG’s commitment to responsible innovation by using properly licensed music from original artists.

The Radio Optimism initiative exemplifies how technology can be harnessed to strengthen emotional bonds in today’s digital landscape. By facilitating the creation of personalized songs, LG encourages a global movement centered on optimism and meaningful connections.
