Japan-based Nippon Shinyaku has selected the LifeSphere® Safety platform from ArisGlobal to enhance its case processing capabilities. This decision, announced on October 28, 2025, aims to create a unified global database and streamline safety workflows for both domestic and international operations.

Nippon Shinyaku chose LifeSphere Safety for its robust automation features, proven success in implementation, and its ability to meet both global and local compliance requirements. The platform includes several key components designed to improve safety data management: LifeSphere® MultiVigilance, which supports end-to-end case processing; LifeSphere® Business Intelligence, an analytics tool that provides real-time insights; and LifeSphere® Reporter, a multilingual solution for capturing adverse event reports from sales representatives and affiliates.

Ms. Hitomi Kimura, Director of Resource Procurement, Production & Assurance at Nippon Shinyaku, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We are pleased to begin our collaboration with ArisGlobal by adopting LifeSphere Safety. This transition will allow us to increase efficiency, reduce external costs, and gain clearer visibility into global safety data, all while ensuring compliance across our operations.”

This partnership reflects a broader trend among Japanese and international life sciences organizations seeking to enhance efficiency and create a strong foundation for future innovations. Zhiyi Chen, Senior Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region at ArisGlobal, highlighted this demand, commenting, “Nippon Shinyaku’s move to LifeSphere reflects a growing demand from Japanese and global life sciences organizations for platforms that deliver efficiency today while creating a strong foundation for future innovation.”

The selection of LifeSphere by Nippon Shinyaku builds on ArisGlobal’s recent growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The company reported a remarkable 233% year-over-year increase in LifeSphere implementations, underscoring its expanding presence in the market.
