Renault Simplifies 2025 Master Van Range with Competitive Pricing

Renault has streamlined its 2025 Master van lineup, focusing on medium- and long-wheelbase models while discontinuing the previous Extra Long Wheelbase option. The new range features the Master in two variants, both offered in the Pro trim, priced at $55,200 for the medium-wheelbase (MWB) and $57,200 for the long-wheelbase (LWB) versions, before on-road costs.

Renault Australia is promoting a drive-away price of $57,990 for the MWB variant available to ABN holders, a limited-time offer that lasts until September 30, 2025. The company reports a strong supply of the Master, underscoring its position as a vital player in the commercial vehicle market.

Performance and Popularity

The 2025 Renault Master features a single powertrain option: a 2.3-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed automated manual transmission. Notably, a manual transmission is no longer available for this model. The Master is not only Renault’s largest vehicle but also its top seller. As of June 2025, Renault has delivered 1,074 Master cargo vans in Australia, significantly outpacing the sales of other models, including the mid-size van, which sold 516, and the mid-size crossover SUV, with 424 units sold.

While the Master has proven to be popular, it trails behind competitors like the Ford Transit, which sold 1,341 units, and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, with 1,026 units sold in the same timeframe.

Warranty and Maintenance

The Renault Master is backed by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, providing confidence for commercial operators. Routine servicing is required every 12 months or 30,000 km, whichever comes first. The cost for the first five services is capped at $599, except for the four-year/120,000 km service, which is priced at $1,259.

Although Renault does not disclose specific fuel economy or CO2 emissions figures for the Master, it does include standard safety equipment to enhance the vehicle’s appeal to commercial users. Potential buyers can choose from a variety of exterior paint finishes, making it easier to customize the van to fit their business needs.

This simplified lineup reflects Renault’s strategic focus on delivering value and reliability to its customers in the competitive commercial vehicle market.
