ADMA Launches New Advisory Committee with Industry Leaders

UPDATE: The Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) has just announced the formation of a new Advisory Committee designed to steer its strategic direction and enhance industry practices. This significant move comes as the marketing landscape rapidly evolves, with a strong focus on responsible marketing and data-driven transformation.

The newly appointed committee features a powerhouse lineup of industry leaders from major organizations such as Optus, NAB, Woolworths, MECCA, Zip Co, and Deloitte. Their expertise will be instrumental in shaping policy and building industry capability.

Chair David Morgan emphasized the urgency of this initiative, stating, “We’ve assembled a group of forward-thinking industry pioneers that are experienced, diverse, and deeply connected to where the industry is heading, both locally and globally.” He highlighted that the committee’s insights will sharpen ADMA’s strategy and empower marketers to embrace opportunities amid complexity.

The announcement follows the earlier appointments of David Morgan as Chair, Steve Brennen as Deputy Chair, and Tom Goodwin, who is ADMA’s first international Advisory Committee member. This group includes leaders with extensive experience in global strategy, digital transformation, privacy, and data ethics, bringing a wealth of knowledge to address emerging challenges.

Andrea Martens, CEO of ADMA, stated, “We’re thrilled to welcome such a high-calibre group of industry leaders who each bring deep domain expertise and a bold vision to drive the marketing industry forward.” She underscored that the committee’s formation is critical as the pace of change accelerates, saying, “Having a strong advisory board to steer and guide ADMA through this evolving landscape is more important than ever.”

The appointments are effective immediately, with members serving an initial three-year term. ADMA aims to leverage this committee to enhance its role in promoting ethical, data-led marketing practices.

As ADMA gears up for its next chapter, the organization also expressed gratitude to outgoing committee members for their contributions, ensuring they remain engaged in various capacities moving forward.

With these developments, ADMA is poised to navigate the complexities of modern marketing, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a responsible and innovative industry. Stay tuned for more updates as this story unfolds.
