BREAKING: The second mural in the Cairns Regional Council’s 2025 neighbourhood murals project has just been unveiled at Touch Park, located on Quarry St, Aeroglen. This vibrant artwork, designed by local artist Loretta Lizzio and nominated by Cr Rob Pyne (Division 5), is an artistic tribute to the unique character of Aeroglen, showcasing its lush tropical landscapes, majestic mountain ranges, and the native wildlife that thrive in the area.
This development arrives as the community eagerly embraces the project’s impact on local culture. The mural captures not only the beauty of the surroundings but also the spirit of the residents, making it a centerpiece for the community.
In addition to the Aeroglen mural, the final project is underway at Endeavour Park in Manunda.
