The Moorabool Council confirmed that the hub, located on McCormacks Road, will likely remain closed for most of the week due to the theft. All scheduled services have been cancelled today, with further disruptions expected throughout the week as repairs are assessed.
Moorabool Mayor Paul Tatchell expressed grave concern over the ongoing issue of such crimes affecting local facilities. “These types of crimes are a major disruption to our kindergartens, schools, sporting and community groups. They are costly and take time to fix, putting everyone out,” he stated.
The incident was reported to Victoria Police at 9:30 AM this morning.
