URGENT UPDATE: This Saturday, September 6, firefighters and emergency services personnel from across Australia will converge on Melbourne for the highly anticipated 12th Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb. These brave individuals will tackle a challenging ascent of 28 floors at the Crown Metropol, donning up to 25kg of operational gear, all in a bid to raise critical funds for several charities.
The climb serves as a powerful symbol of the significant health and well-being challenges faced by first responders and their families daily. With a fundraising target of $1 Million, the event aims to support vital organizations, including Lifeline, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, and 000Foundation.
